Chicken on the Weber Kettle


Decided to cook some chicken leg quarters on the Weber Limited Edition Kettle!

I found that you really have to keep an eye on things on a kettle or it's going to burn up!  Several pieces were charred a bit more than I had hoped, but nothing really too bad.  The kettle cooked up the chicken relatively quickly.  I cooked the chicken pieces until the internal temp were at least 165 degrees.  The ThermoWorks Thermapen Mk IV really reads the temps quickly and accurately!
